Caitlin + Jordan
It's been a far to long since I have blogged a wedding. or blogged at all. I have been so crazy through this season it has been hard to find the time, but I am beyond blessed to have been chosen to document this day for them and so happy to finally share it.
For their May wedding, they thought that with Spring in the air and the "new beginning" that marriage represents, they wanted to incorporate fresh Spring flowers and soft floral colors, with pale pink for the bridesmaids dresses and light gray suits for the groomsmen. They wanted to add lush greenery in to the floral design and were obsessed with what Fresh Urban Flowers did with the garland draped across the head table. Touches of lavender were also added throughout the floral design. Caitlin loves anything lavender (and Jordan says the smell reminds him of her).
The overall decor was "rustic chic," from the wood cake slab, to the antique birdcage for table assignments, to the mason jars on the sign in table. Jordan and Caitlin love wine, which they wanted to show through the wine bottle table number displays and the "LOVE" sign made out of wine corks (on the cake table).
Jordan chose to make a statement with his royal blue custom-made suit from Knot Standard in a traditional double-breasted style, and Caitlin wore a beaded Enzoani wedding gown. To honor her late paternal grandfather, Caitlin wore a bracelet made out of crushed flowers that were displayed at his funeral, and the necklace and earrings belonged to her late maternal grandmother.
